Great place! Clean, quality food and great staff.

Looking for a quick bite after a boat trip we happened on The Island Grill. Located in a shopping center, we arrived during a slow time between breakfast and lunch. Needless to say the service was excellent. There were four of us and each had a different menu item. My breakfast sandwich on a croissant was well worth the $6.95 price. Two eggs and two sausages with plenty of cheese. A bargain.

I ordered the BBQ burger and the potato salad and was blown away. The burger was cooked perfectly and was was topped with a rich, tangy sauce, a large crispy onion ring and a creamy slaw. A very well balanced burger. The potato salad was a great compliment to my burger although I heard the fries are really good as well. Great portion size for the price as well. The menu is perfect not overwhelming but great options. Although they have salads, I recommend the comfort food and desserts. They have bottled beer and tap as well, along with a small wine selection. The service was great, smiling and friendly. There is plenty of seating so make sure you visit when you are in St. James City.

This visit some of the breakfast items were cold plus toast needs to be toasted more, too limp.

Traveling through on my Harley and a local told me about this place. Amazing food. Best Greek omelet I’ve ever had. Definitely a must for good food.

Grilled cheese sandwiches are not actually grilled. I believe its put under broiler to toast. French fries over cooked. Service is good. Food was only ok.

The best "home made" corned beef hash ever!

Nice fast Friday morning service. .7amish. Sausage gravy could have been warmer...Nice eggs to cooked to order and sausage patties.Local spot it looks like.

Had a family lunch yesterday at The Island Grill. Staff was friendly but the food was quite terrible. Chicken served raw, floppy cold fries, crusty-less crab cakes, and a Caesar salad with severely wilted lettuce. Still left 20%. Hey, we gave it a shot...

The food is marginal at best and significantly over priced. No one on the staff smiled. Like they would prefer to be doing something else. Maybe it's just me and my son?
